Hello Everyone,
There is no easy way to share this saddening news but recently our dad, our best friend, our hero has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
I would like to thank Dr Xenia Doorenbosch and all other doctors and associated medical staff at the Adelaide Memorial Hospital who have gone over and above their duty of care to look after my dad.
Dads surgery last week went well and Dr Doorenbosch and her team did an amazing job removing as much of the tumour as they could. He is still recovering in hospital and hopefully will commence radiation and chemo therapy within the next few weeks.
I’m hoping that we can make a small contribution to go towards further cancer research.
The Neurosurgical Research Foundation (NRF) is an Australian Charity funding research for neurosurgical diseases including brain tumours, stroke and neurodegenerative traumatic brain/spinal injury.
I’m currently registered to participate in my first marathon in Gold Coast on the 3rd of July 2022 and I have been training consistently for the last 5 months. In addition to my marathon, on the 27th of June I will also be participating in the Santos Darwin City to Surf Run.
Please support my challenge by making a secure donation - all money goes directly to NRF and is completely tax deductible.

Thank you so much for your support
